Change driving school – possible at any time
Unhappy, moved house, or simply not the right fit with your instructor? You can change driving school whenever you like — and you lose none of what you have already achieved.
Changing school is a formality. You owe your current school no explanation and do not have to have any conversation you would rather avoid. Register with us and we will sort out the rest.
Everything you have completed still counts: theory lessons, driving lessons and passed exams all carry over. You continue where you left off, not from the beginning.
How the change works

Get in touch
Call us, message us on WhatsApp or drop into one of our five branches. We will look at where you stand and what is still missing.

Request your training record
Your current school issues a certificate of your training status — which theory topics you have covered, which driving lessons and special drives you have completed. They are obliged to provide it. Bring that record to us.

Training contract with us
You sign a new training contract with us. If your application with the licensing authority is already running it stays in place — it is simply transferred to us, no new application needed.

Carry on driving
We plan the remaining lessons and your test date with you. From then on everything runs as it does for everyone here: theory schedule, online registration and your own instructor.

Frequently asked questions about changing school
- Do I have to tell my old school why I am leaving?
- No. You do not have to justify yourself or give any reason. Changing school is an administrative step, not a negotiation.
- Do I lose my theory and driving lessons?
- No. Your training status carries over — theory lessons, driving lessons and special drives all still count. That is why the certificate from your current school is the key part of the change.
- Do I have to retake the theory exam?
- No. A passed theory exam stays valid — it is valid for one year, after which it must be retaken regardless of any change of school.
- What does changing cost me?
- Nothing for the change itself with us — you pay the regular base fee and your driving lessons. What your previous school has charged or will still charge depends on your contract there; that can be clarified beforehand.
- Do I need a new application with the licensing authority?
- Usually not. A pending application stays in place and is transferred to us. We will tell you whether anything needs doing in your case.
- Can I switch in the middle of my training?
- Yes, at any point — before the theory exam, after it, even after a failed practical test. There is no deadline and no bad moment.
