Professional driver – class C/CE

  • Practical training drives
  • Special drives

Driving & manoeuvring training

  • Precision training at low speed with modern drawbar combinations
  • Driving in real traffic incl. eco-training on modern drawbar combinations

Accelerated initial qualification

under the BKrFQG

Anyone who wants to work as a professional driver in goods transport within the EU and obtained or obtains their truck licence after 10 September 2009 also needs an initial qualification. Licences obtained before that date are exempt.

Funding options

Education voucher (Bildungsgutschein)

The WeGebAU programme supports the further training of low-qualified and employed workers. For this, the employment agency (Agentur für Arbeit) provides a so-called education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) under certain conditions.

Requirements may include

  • Entitlement to benefits under SGB II or III
  • Minimum age of 18 or 21, depending on the course
  • Proof of health fitness by a medical certificate
  • Ophthalmologist's report
  • No relevant entry in the driving aptitude register
