Driving commercially? Then you need code 95

Anyone driving a truck or bus commercially needs the accelerated basic qualification under BKrFQG on top of the licence — entered as code 95. We train both, on request directly after the intensive course.

  • 01Accelerated basic qualification: €2,900 plus €145 chamber-of-commerce exam
  • 02Switcher course truck ↔ bus (35 hours, 5 days): €700 plus €145 exam
  • 03Professional driver refresher: all five modules in one week, no exam

Funding through the employment agency

We are a certified partner for further training and retraining in freight and passenger transport. Funding with an education voucher from the employment agency or job centre is possible — often the costs are covered in full. We advise you personally and help you redeem it.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the intensive truck licence course take?
Around 10 days — provided registration, the licence application, the medical examination and the eye test are done about six weeks in advance. Without that preparation the course cannot start.
Is the intensive course the same as a crash course?
Yes. Intensive course and crash course mean the same thing: training in one block instead of spread over months.
Can I take the course if I am not from the region?
Yes. A large share of our participants travel in. Let us know when you register — we will arrange accommodation near the driving school.
Will the employment agency cover the costs?
It is possible: we are a certified partner for further training and retraining in freight and passenger transport, so an education voucher can be redeemed. Whether and how much is funded is decided by your contact at the employment agency or job centre — we will advise you.
What does the truck licence cost?
The fixed costs are set; the number of practice lessons is individual. You will find every item for C1, C, CE and the package prices on our price page at /preise.
Do I need code 95?
Only if you drive commercially. For private journeys the licence is enough. Anyone working in freight or passenger transport also needs the accelerated basic qualification under BKrFQG.
